A Tolson Family Lost Their Home to Fire, Please Help

Greetings Team Tolson,

Just prior to the recent snowstorm, three members of the Imagine Hope Tolson family lost their home to an apartment fire. A parent and her children, fortunately escaped the fire without injury. However all of their possessions were lost to water damage.

Our Pee Wee Cheerleaders want to rally the school community to aid the family in their time of need.  The squad will be holding a clothing donation drive from Thursday, January 28 to Friday, February 5. They will be accepting new, gently used clothing and monetary donations in the front lobby each day from:

 7:30a.m. – 8:30a.m. and 3:30p.m. – 4:15p.m.

The parent has expressed that the family’s greatest need is clothing for the children. Below are specific items that are needed most:

  • Girls and boys underwear/undershirts
  • Girls and boys school uniform clothes
  • Girls and boys t-shirts and jeans
  • Girls and boys pajamas
  • Boys winter clothes (i.e. coat, gloves, hat, etc)
  • Boys shoes

Here are the sizes for both of the children:

  • 2nd Grade female sizes: large girls, 10 shirt, 8 slim pants, 4 1/2 shoes
  • 8th Grade male sizes: 16/18 shirt, 16 slim pants, 10 shoes (men’s)

We hope to have your support!  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Coach Knecht at (202) 832-7370 or Jason.knecht@imagineschools.org

Sincerely,
